Drontal Cat
Drontal for cats is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic that fights roundworms, hookworms and tapeworms in cats in one administration. The active ingredient in Drontal Cat is Pyrantelembonate.
Worms in cats are much more common than most people think and can be detrimental to your cat's health. Roundworms travel around the body and can damage organs and cause inflammation. Other worms damage the intestinal wall, which not only reduces nutrient absorption, but can also cause diarrhoea or vomiting. Worms also impair the effectiveness of a vaccination. It is therefore recommended to deworm your cat 4 times a year.
Contraindications
Drontal Cat should not be used simultaneously with another anthelmintic containing piperazine as an active ingredient.
